the debates

I couldn’t sleep, and so was up at 3 this morning and could listen to the the first presidential debate, over the internet.

Sometimes, I found myself cheering, other times, I just answered (to myself) for Bush and Kerry, when I didn’t like their answers – which was a lot more fun. Now that it’s over, I’ve been reading a few of the first articles about the debate, and I can’t help but wonder (even when I ignore my answers, and listen to the ones that actually came out of the candidates’ mouths), ‘Did these reporters listen to the same debate I did?’

Maybe it’ll be better tomorrow (but that’s what I’ve been hoping for over the last 4 years!)….
