south african based multi-media_video artist.
have been involved in the contemporary art scene as from 2001/2.
am one of the founding members of the 3rd Eye Vision, which includes Gabi Ngcobo, Khwezi Gule, Sharlene Khan, Langa Magwa. it’s an association of artists who surface from the Durban art scene and stir revolution.
i have also been involved in a number of artistic collaborations, workshops, panel discussions, portfolio exchanges and exhibitions, both nationally and internationally.
after such chaos, i have received some recognition in contribution to contemporary SA art, and was awarded a Sally and Don Lucas fellowship this year (2005), to be taken as a residency at Montalvo Arts Center, San Jose.
