digi-arts jozi and the premises show

marcus neustetter and ryan arenson's work

Above / left is everyone’s favorite Joburger, Marcus Neustetter, posing (well, not really, but I did make it look as such) with the UNESCO pamphlets for digi-arts international. Marcus is pretty much leading the digi-arts africa movement, and is starting the pilot program – digi-arts joburg- as I type! We talked about it today, and it seems that all the major South African institutional players of art and technology are ready to be involved. Individuals, too (present company included).

At right, some of Ryan Arenson’s work (portraits 1 – 4), from his opening at the | premises this afternoon.

Not gonna clog up more pix from Zingi’s party last night, but it was indeed a hoot. Rock on with artists and designers dancing up a storm in a Jozi gallery ’til the mornin….
