I&#8217;m finding it tiresome to even do a little bit. Granted, he usually has cooler things than I to say, and is usually in places, or at conference\/festivals, that have much easier net access than SA and Eastern Europe, but even when I <i>am<\/i> in places like that, I don&#8217;t keep on it.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, made it to the Budapest National Museum (or something like that) up by the castle today, and Nicks and I were really impressed by a lot of the contemporary Hungarian work.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/nathanielstern.com\/blog\/wp-content\/forcedmarchvarga.jpg?w=850\" alt='Imre Vargas. Forced March. 1968' \/><br \/>\n<small>Imre Vargas. Forced March. 1968<\/small><\/p>\n<p>Above, Imre Vargas&#8217; &#8220;Forced March,&#8221; circa 1968: a beautiful sculpture by a Hungarian gem. Very moving.  I liked that, given the size, age, and funding of the institution (which mostly houses and exhibits art pre-20th century), it had a fairly decent collection of work post-1945, and was exhibiting some pieces from as recent as 1999.
