Kendell Geers was mostly a rude bugger, but a lot of what he said rang with truth, and I appreciate that, at least. Paolo inspired me to donate a work of my own to the JAG. Marina&#8217;s performance was haunting, and as always, so was the public&#8217;s response (or lack thereof) to it. You did not miss it if you could not go &#8211; even tho watching the donated videos of the performance to the JAG is simply not the same, I found the real treat to be MA&#8217;s 5 projection installation: a looped, and not-quite-linear narrative in and around hope and fear.<\/p>\n<p>The imagery is stunning, and I need time to incubate.
