Yes, the list does go beyond 100, and even explains how the ranking works. SA&#8217;s own William Kentridge is at 33, I&#8217;m proud to say (well above Matthew Barney, which is surprising, yet comforting). Would you believe <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artfacts.net\/index.php?pageType=search&#038;search=nathaniel+stern\">I&#8217;m not even listed<\/a>? What a sham!<\/p>\n<p>Also from MTAA, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mteww.com\/mtaaRR\/news\/twhid\/1ypv_gallery_version.html\">an installation version<\/a> of their extremely compelling <a href=\"http:\/\/www.turbulence.org\">turbulence<\/a> commission, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.turbulence.org\/Works\/1year\/\">1 year performance video (aka samHsiehUpdate)<\/a>. Sounds hot.<\/p>\n<p>And thanks to some dandy blogs via my li&#8217;l OS X news reader (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fondantfancies.com\/shrook\/\">shrook!<\/a>), I also found the following interesting tidbits:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.press.uchicago.edu\/cgi-bin\/hfs.cgi\/00\/13802.ctl\">Speaking into the Air: A History of the Idea of Communication<\/a> &#8211; an interesting looking book by John Durham Peters, which <a href=\"http:\/\/home.no.net\/marika75\/log\/2005\/01\/touchpresence.html\">Marika<\/a> says is a great read. Her blog is kinda nice ;)<\/p>\n<p>And two great <a href=\"http:\/\/itp.nyu.edu\/itp\">ITP<\/a> (check out their <a href=\"http:\/\/itp.nyu.edu\/itp\">new website<\/a>!) courses offered by the amiable <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rushkoff.com\">Douglas Rushkoff<\/a>:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rushkoff.com\/theory2005.html\">Theoretical Perspectives on Interactivity<\/a> and<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rushkoff.com\/story2005.html\">Storytelling For Active &#038; Interactive Media<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Word.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thanks to MTAA for this interesting link: artfacts.net: top 100 ranking artists.
