Aside from the usual array of tidbits, there&#8217;s not a bad overview of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artthrob.co.za\/04nov\/reviews\/kebble_nm.html\">new media work at the Kebbles<\/a>, by Charles Maggs; he does more describing and explaining than critical discussion, but that&#8217;s still way ahead of the curve, so I&#8217;m pleased.<\/p>\n<p>Then there&#8217;s Jay Pather&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artthrob.co.za\/04nov\/pather.html\"><em>Fragments from a remembered diary: my stay in New York City for the &#8216;Personal Affects&#8217; exhibition, September 2004<\/em><\/a>. Is it just me, or does he get cooler by the day? Jeez, he&#8217;s smart.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Carine Zaayman gives us <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artthrob.co.za\/04nov\/project.html\">another few websites to check out<\/a>, this time straying a bit further into unchartered territory (tho I did admittedly like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artthrob.co.za\/04apr\/project.html\">that time she featured this blog<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Nice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This month&#8217;s artthrob is Mos Def one you will not want to give a miss.
