Here’s me and Lindy, from a meeting we had at Wits the other day (I am the one on the right ;). We’ve decided it’s about time to get Team Madiba (see this post<\/a>) shaking!<\/p>\n Lindy has amazing amounts of events management experience with Daimler Chrysler<\/a> and at the University of Pretoria<\/a>, so I know<\/i> this project is gonna work. She’s putting funding proposals together to see about training a South African slam team for international competitions (not to mention a minor tour in the states). Of course, as the poetry slam, inc<\/a> rules go, joining the team will be open to everyone – so long as you follow the rules (that’s what I am there for; and crit, of course).<\/p>\n You just have to win a bit.
