gallery momo<\/a> for what promised to be a very interesting talk on The Importance of Writing & Preserving Our Arts Heritage<\/i>, with panelists including the likes of Kathryn and Zingi (above), as well as Colin Richards and Sipho Mdanda. However, fate had other plans (many of the panelists didn’t show up). Anyhow, an interesting talk progressed on different matters. We discussed the pale male state of arts administration in Jozi, the lack of young emerging artists who work well with new media, and the need for artists to work in other fields in order to make ends meet (as well as the lack of good businesspeople in the fine arts realm).<\/p>\nAnyone care to comment?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
