\na performance piece that I’ve been working on with Jeanette
\nGinslov<\/a> opens as part of the FNB
\nDance Umbrella<\/a> tomorrow, at the Wits<\/a>
\nMain Stage. Here<\/a> is the
\noriginal conceptual statement (written by the two of us); no photos are available
\nyet. Admittedly, the statement<\/a>
\nis a bit misleading – originally, the piece was going to be a careful exploration
\ninto isolated identities (or the lack thereof) in South African dance languages.
\nAs Jeanette<\/a>
\nmoved along with her directing, it turned into more of a comedy about specific
\nSouth African choreographers, and how they work. If you are familiar with this
