{"id":362,"date":"2004-06-05T16:16:16","date_gmt":"2004-06-05T21:16:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nathanielstern.com\/blog\/?p=362"},"modified":"2005-02-04T09:14:17","modified_gmt":"2005-02-04T07:14:17","slug":"hee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nathanielstern.com\/blog\/2004\/06\/05\/hee\/","title":{"rendered":"hee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> On a quick search to see who shared a birthday with me, the first name to come up was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fun4birthdays.com\/birthday\/june_5.html\" target=\"_blank\">Kenny G<\/a> &#8211; am I the only one who sees this as a bad omen?<\/p>\n<p>Last night, <a href=\"http:\/\/kupfer.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kupfer<\/a> (whose blog seems to be updated nearly as often as I <i>have<\/i> a birthday) did some magic tricks for me at the PG club &#8211; I, of course, was utterly thrilled. I&#8217;m like a little kid in how much I love that stuff, but without any desire to learn how it&#8217;s done. He even gave me a small trick of my own as a gift.<\/p>\n<p>Nicky got me a great book on contemporary narrative theory (YAY!), and a fleece robe (I&#8217;m always cold). My mom-in-law got me a computer thriller called <i>Firewall,<\/i> as I&#8217;m on a big thriller kick lately. Fitting.<br \/>\nI&#8217;m hoping that the generous gifts my family usually shower on me may provide something viable towards buying a new iBook!<\/p>\n<p>I do not feel any older, but am happy to celebrate life. I&#8217;ve been feeling a little exhausted lately, and am hoping that my upcoming trip will prove inspirational, beyond that end.
