{"id":288,"date":"2004-02-04T12:35:50","date_gmt":"2004-02-04T18:35:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nathanielstern.com\/blog\/?p=288"},"modified":"2005-02-04T10:06:49","modified_gmt":"2005-02-04T08:06:49","slug":"please-get-rid-of-him","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nathanielstern.com\/blog\/2004\/02\/04\/please-get-rid-of-him\/","title":{"rendered":"please get rid of him"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.morningsun.net\/stories\/020404\/usw_20040204017.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">Super Tuesday&#8217;s results<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2004\/ALLPOLITICS\/02\/03\/elec04.prez.analysts\/\" target=\"_blank\">Analysts examine Tuesday&#8217;s results<\/a> &#8211; if Kerry has the minority vote, as the first analyst on this page says, then why are all of the analysts of color talking about Howard Dean?<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.emediawire.com\/releases\/2004\/2\/emw102580.htm\" target=\"_blank\">iVote<br \/>\nand the primaries.<\/a> OK, we know Dean is e-organized, so I don&#8217;t know how much<br \/>\nthe &#8216;Dean win&#8217; in this iVote actually tells us, but they make a very good case<br \/>\nabout how much say the later primary states (don&#8217;t) have&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>My vote in NY is still going for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.deanforamerica.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dean<\/a><br \/>\n(my favorite candidate), but I do have to face the fact that he may not be our<br \/>\nDem candidate in &#8217;04. I took another look at some of the potential candidate sites&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Electability? Since when is Bush electable? We don&#8217;t need anyone that smart in<br \/>\norder to beat him in debate, do we? More important, who is going to stand up to<br \/>\nCorporate America, rebuild our foreign relations, get us work again? In the absence<br \/>\nof Howard Dean (pout), I urge readers to take another good look at recent state-winners<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.johnedwards2004.com\" target=\"_blank\">John Edwards<\/a> and<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/clark04.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Wesley Clark.<\/a> Both are extremely<br \/>\n&#8216;presidential;&#8217; both are <i>much<\/i> better choices than <a href=\"http:\/\/www.johnkerry.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">John<br \/>\nKerry.<\/a> Don&#8217;t believe me? Take a gander at the provided links, and their respective<br \/>\n&#8216;on the issues&#8217; pages. Granted, Kerry is a lesser evil to Bush, but why not vote<br \/>\nfor someone we want?<br \/>\n Extra point: both are southerners (southern vote = happy Democrat).
