Although a bit daunting, it&#8217;s not very dissimilar from j-script, or any other scripting language that matter.  I was expecting it to be closer to lingo (Director&#8217;s inherent object oriented programming language), but this is not the case.  Granted, this is for a corporate-like job (web site for education), but it&#8217;s still fun to learn new technologies.<\/p>\n<p>And, speaking of corporate and new technologies, Templar, over at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blink.co.za\/\" target=\"_blank\">blink<\/a>, has purchased me a copy of Danny Rozin&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/smoothware.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">VideoMask Xtra<\/a> for PC, so that I can throw something together for a presentation he is working on.  I was hoping that VideoMask MX might be out soon, so that I can work in OS X, but the good news is that a PC version of <i><a href=\"\/gallery\/stuttering.html\" target=\"_top\">stuttering<\/a><\/i> may be in the works for the near future&#8230; Rock on.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Make that Jo Ractliffe solo exhibition a duo show with Terry Kurgan (see entry from 2 days ago)&#8230;.
