My better 2\/3rds and I just sat around watching DVDs of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nbc.com\/The_West_Wing\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">The<br \/>\nWest Wing<\/a>, and drinking champagne and single malt scotch, to bring in 2004.<br \/>\nHow civilized :) One of my favorite lines in the show talks about voting for the<br \/>\n&quot;lesser of who cares&quot; (haha &#8211; John Spencer), and a great Martin Sheen<br \/>\nmonologue is when there is a Dr. Joyce Brothers type character who he goes after<br \/>\non Leviticus and gay rights, as the president &#8211; similar to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.suite101.com\/discussion.cfm\/societyandculture\/85487\/834961\" target=\"_blank\">these<\/a><br \/>\n(the top post only).<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of biblical-type things, here is a much more interesting take on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ebaumsworld.com\/endofworld.html\" target=\"_blank\">The<br \/>\nEnd Of the World.<\/a> Thanks to stuart bruce (my old shaolin buddy) for the link.<br \/>\nFor those not in the know with the acronyms this flash movie uses, check out this<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.acronymfinder.com\/af-query.asp?String=exact&#038;Acronym=stfu\" target=\"_blank\">Acronym<br \/>\nFinder<\/a> site &#8211; too funny (links directly to &quot;What does STFU stand for?,&quot;<br \/>\nfor the loading page of last link).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/news\/nationworld\/nation\/la-na-dean31dec31,1,2559647.story?coll=la-headlines-nation\" target=\"_blank\">Dean<br \/>\nSays His Candidacy to Remain Candid<\/a> &#8211; taking his weakness as a strength, I<br \/>\nhave to admit that speaking his mind is what makes Dr. Dean more attractive to<br \/>\nvoters like me. However, I wish he would clarify what he means in his own head<br \/>\na bit more, before attempting to articulate it externally.
