Thank you, nathaniel! You are more than welcome.<br \/>\n  Zanzibar was beautiful. The Spice Tour was great; the beach dreamy; the seafood<br \/>\n  fantabulous; the shopping fun (and I usually don&#8217;t like shopping) and my wife<br \/>\n  is pretty cool, too.<br \/>\n  However, I got some stomach bug on the last day, and I am totally grounded here<br \/>\n  at home in Joburg (trying to empty my inbox). nicole also got some bug (of a different kind) bite<br \/>\n  that she&#8217;s allergic to &#8211; there are forces in the world that seem to<br \/>\n  not want us to go back to work. I just wish they could get us out of labor<br \/>\n  without making us feel ill, KWIM (Know What I Mean)?<br \/>\n  A lot has happened in my absence &#8211; as usual &#8211; and most of which I am unaware<br \/>\n  of. It&#8217;s so nice to not be a solipsist.<br \/>\n  BIG disappointment to see John Kerry take Iowa, and only have Howard Dean in<br \/>\n  third. Personally, I don&#8217;t think Kerry stands a chance against Bush, and moreover,<br \/>\n  I don&#8217;t like him that much.<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aec.at\/en\/prix\" target=\"_blank\">Ars Electronica<\/a> has<br \/>\n  opened its doors to a new competition year, and <a href=\"http:\/\/turbulence.org\/comp_04\/guidelines.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Turbulence<\/a><br \/>\n  also has a great new net.art proposal competition (for a nice li&#8217;l commission<br \/>\n  of $5000) &#8211; yummy.<br \/>\n  Sam Stern, the good child of my parents (Jeanette &amp; Phil Stern), is also<br \/>\n  feeling ill this week &#8211; so we wish her all the best here in webland, don&#8217;t we?<br \/>\n  Please also give crazy e-shouts to Jen Wandy on the Shaolin, kicking mad bacteria,<br \/>\n  in a fight for health.
