She&#8217;s got all kinds of happenings<br \/>\nand awards to her name in the past while &#8211; just look at all the articles on her<br \/>\nin <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artthrob.co.za\/\" target=\"_blank\">A R T T H R O B,<\/a> the<br \/>\nmost recent issue.<\/p>\n<p>The Brett Kebble Art Awards, aka The Kebbles, aka BKAA, have launched BKAA2 &#8211; the prizes have <i>doubled,<\/i> bringing the grand to R200,000, the six categories to R60,000, and any number of merit awards to R10,000. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tonight.co.za\/index.php?fSectionId=359&#038;fArticleId=298643\" target=\"_blank\">Also of note<\/a> is the new curator &#8211; Clive van den Berg &#8211; well-known SA artist, critic, and Fine Arts lecturer at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wits.ac.za\/artworks\/\" target=\"_blank\">WSOA &#8211; Wits School of Arts.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/forgottenangle.org\/aidsfest\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">When Life<br \/>\nHappens,<\/a> the HIV\/Aids arts, film and media festival, wrapped up on Monday<br \/>\nnight, in Newtown. It was a <i>fantastic<\/i> success. Its initiators, PJ Sabbagha<br \/>\nand Keith Markland (of The Forgotten Angle Theatre Collaborative) are now on a<br \/>\nwell deserved vacation just outside of Gauteng.
