Phillip Terrone has just posted Craftsman&#8217;s latest woodworking tool, an $1800 computer controlled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.makezine.com\/blog\/archive\/2007\/01\/computer_contro.html#trackbacks\">CNC machine<\/a>.  Boing Boing&#8217;s Cory Doctorow describes it as a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boingboing.net\/2007\/01\/08\/3d_printing_comes_to.html\">3-D printer<\/a>, which doesn&#8217;t mean that it prints holograms on wood, but rather that you can rip, cross cut, miter, contour, joint and route, without having to own a separate tool for each job.
