Joburg<\/a> site:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>At their permission, Nathaniel Stern will be presenting the work of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mteww.com\/\">MTAA<\/a>, a Brooklyn based digital art duo, most famous for their extremely provocative and quirky networked art:                <\/p>\n<p>Artists <strong>M. River<\/strong> and <strong>T. Whid<\/strong> formed <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mteww.com\/\">MTAA<\/a><\/strong> in 1996 and soon after began to explore the internet as a medium for public art. The duo&rsquo;s exhibition history includes group shows and screenings at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newmuseum.org\/\">The New Museum of Contemporary Art<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.postmastersart.com\/\">Postmasters Gallery<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artistsspace.org\/\">Artists Space<\/a>, all in New York City, and at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.getty.edu\/\">The Getty Research Institute<\/a> in Los Angeles. International exhibitions include the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.senef.net\/\"><em>Seoul Net &amp; Film Festival<\/em><\/a> in Korea and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.videozone.org.il\/\"><em>Videozone2 &#8211; The 2nd International Video Art Biennial<\/em><\/a> in Israel.
