{"id":1048,"date":"2006-01-28T18:32:40","date_gmt":"2006-01-28T16:32:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nathanielstern.com\/blog\/2006\/01\/28\/yowza-stuff\/"},"modified":"2006-04-12T07:14:52","modified_gmt":"2006-04-12T05:14:52","slug":"yowza-stuff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nathanielstern.com\/blog\/2006\/01\/28\/yowza-stuff\/","title":{"rendered":"yowza stuff"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Been busy all day working on the <a href=\"http:\/\/implicitbody.net\">implicit body<\/a> full chapter with Nicole (yes, world, that&#8217;s a new URL!).&nbsp; Wow, although academic writing is exciting and exhilarating, I sometimes forget how draining and exhausting it can be.&nbsp; Bit by bit&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>In other news, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.macformat.co.uk\">MacFormat Magazine<\/a> has decided to do a li&#8217;l back-page feature on me and <a href=\"http:\/\/compressionism.net\">Compressionism<\/a>, with full color pix and a bit on the series. Major geek points for me! That&#8217;ll be in issue number 168 or 169, so out in the UK in about 3 months, 5 months to get to South Africa (that&#8217;s a guess).&nbsp; While I&#8217;m on the <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">mememe<\/span> and <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">mymymy<\/span> press kick, the next <a href=\"http:\/\/nyartsmagazine.com\">NY Arts Magazine<\/a>, which also as a feature on yours truly, should be out in the next week or so, and apparently <a href=\"http:\/\/ralphborland.net\">Ralph Borland<\/a> will be writing next month&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artthrob.co.za\">Artthrob<\/a> Artbio on, you guessed it, me.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s all fits and starts, and I&#8217;m having a good month, but I&#8217;m guessing it&#8217;s just karma for my blogging and <a href=\"http:\/\/saartsemerging.org\">SAartsEmerging<\/a> efforts, and since nobody wrote about my and Marcus&#8217; last duo show&#8230;.<br \/>Almost forgot! Christo and I have been officially approved to start &quot;The Upgrade!
