Howdy y’all. Sorry for the silence from me lately (tho at least Kaganof has been keeping up with his beautiful photos). What with all the events with Joshua Goldberg, taking him to Kruger, him getting scammed out of his bank card, and losing then finding his passport, things have been a bit crazy. Right now, I’m supposed to be shooting footage for the new dance piece I am doing with the forgotten angle theatre collaborative, but am instead miserable and in bed – super sick with the flu.
I’m sure I had a bunch of photos of art and other things on my camera that I’ve been meaning to blog, but that (getting my camera to download them) would require getting out of bed, and this is not gonna happen (am on my laptop and wireless right now).
My Wits Digital Arts students are setting up their show at Franchise gallery right now, as they open on Saturday with their interactive exhibition, return. More on that as we approach.
Sunday, I leave for Grahamstown! Am showing stuttering (a new, PC version) and will be performing aforementioned Dance piece, Petra. Big departure for us – we’re doing some live interactive stuff using jitter, and it’s gonna be hot. Now if only I could figure out how I’m going to get well enough to shoot the necessary photos and video. Any advice? Anybody have a cure for the flu?
