but at least….

Barack Obama has taken a Senate seat in Illinois – he’s only the third black U.S. senator since Reconstruction. Not only that, but he’s got an interesting past, and seems to be very keyed in (get it? he beat Alan Keyes!) to the issues. Am I smelling the beginnings of a very fruitful career, potentially leading to our first black president, in years to come? I hope so….
