Hektik few days, but so be it. The workshop at Wits (see last entry) is going fantastically well! Everyone’s ‘milmoe box’ works (this is our interface for physical devices and the computer to speak to one another), and today we will play with Max/MSP/Jitter. Because of this workshop’s success, we’re likely going to do another intro workshop on interactive video, which I will lead, some time in the next few months. This would cover motion, body, point and color tracking for interactive installation and performance. Maybe even amplitude and frequency tracking…. There have been some requests for a more advanced microprocessor workshop (that’s what this one is an intro for), so that is in the cards, too. For more info on p-comp in general, see Tom Igoe’s fabulous Physical Computing web site.
Yay, Ralph Borland!
