UCLA’s Department of World Arts and Cultures is producing "Extensions: The Online Journal for Embodied Technology", which should be live sometime in the next month or so. They will be featuring some footage of stuttering, and who knows what else, so keep an eye out.
Whilst spying their site (very interesting), I also stumbled on the work of Norah Zuniga Shaw. Take a peak at "these stories of in-between" to see some impressive explorations of storytelling – wish I could have seen it live.
Merry holidays to all. Would you believe I have been taking some time off? I haven’t
even been surfing much! I did, however, take some time out from my time out to
start producing some work for my shows lined up next year. Two new serial
faces are nearing completion, and I’ve begun brainstorming a new hektor
installation for the Johannesburg Art Gallery (which I will also, likely, submit
to the Brett Kebble Art Awards,
2004).
Another ArtThrob mention on their 2003
in review (Project) page. According to their site, ArtThrob will have a New
Media dedicated writer in the new year.
