Dean AND Clark?

Dream Team: an article about Wesley Clark and Hillary Clinton, which brings forward some very interesting, albeit fantastic, possibilities. My favorite, of course, being a Dean / Clark bill for 2004. However, they do miss one point:
See, they are saying that if Clark runs in the primary, he’ll likely lose to Dean, and then is in an optimum position for Dean’s Veep. However, these two might wind up pulling votes from each other in the Dem primary, and giving the election to someone else (who would lose against Bush)!
Some time ago, I posted a link to an article about how announcing a President / VP team in advance might increase any camp’s chances of winning the primary (I don’t have the time to find the permalink right now, so toss it to me for re-post if you feel like searching for, and find, it). To me, this is the better option; a Dean / Clark bill (or vice-versa) would be unbeat-able in the Democratic primaries and, unless he finds WMDs and/or the economy takes a huge upturn, a sure thing against Bush.
Isn’t that what we want?
