Thank you, General Powell.
As an independant, I had hopes that the Republicans would have nominated General Powell in 2000. Unfortunately for all of us, they nominated (and put in office) someone of much less intelligence and ability. The G.W. Bush administration and tactics being used by the Republicans in the current campain show the dominant figure of the party is not Reagan, but is still Nixon. I hope the Republican party can rid itself of this corrosive influence. In the mean time, General Powell’s sum up well why many moderate conservatives are supporting Senator Obama and hope to see him as our next President.
Socialist treason against the United States, plain and simple.
Powell is a racist and a traitor.
Hi Carl. How is this treason, exactly? That being said, how is it even socialism (not that socialism automatically equals treason – FDR did kinda save the country with some of his capitalistic implementations of social values, but, just curious)? And “racism”? Really? A former Bush administrator is, what, proven to have worked his way… you what dude(?), I can’t even go there!
