Comments have now been added to my blog! Woohoo! Blogger now has it’s own, free, commenting system (click the ‘get a weblog’ link, above, to use their free service).

A note on the redesign of this blog:
Now that comments have been added, I had to make a few changes; first, permalinks and commenting features will open in a new window, rather than in this frame, to allow room for the comment posting board; second, and more important, ALL permalink addresses have changed, in order to accommodate this new technology. This means that if you are linking to an older post on my site, you may want to update your permalink to match the new name! Granted, I’ve left my old blog pages up, so they should still work, but I can’t guarantee that all the links within those older posts will work anymore, since I am using a new system. You still like me, tho, right?

near…ly…there….

Did you miss me? The last few weeks have been hektik with prepping for the artspace show, but in all, I think it went well. Marcus is cool.

I booked my trip to Cuba, NYC and Dublin. I doubt I know anyone who will be at the former, but I’ll be ‘home’ from 3 July - 13 July, and in Dubs from then until 27 July. Plan on a party, and contact me if you want me there ;)

Willem Boshoff has an opening at the Goodman Gallery this week, which you will not want to miss. I’ve been really bad about keeping up with 52.co.za, but check out the works as of late - worth seeing.

And in proper news:
Free to marry - this article actually brought tears to my eyes
GOP groups play 527 catch-up - I hate 5plus2equals7. Why don’t you?
Nader says his issues key to Kerry win - I’ve been saying all along that he had something else up his sleeve… Hey Kerry! Stop defending yourself and start acting like a progressive leader!
Backers of Gay Marriage Ban Find Tepid Response in Pews - in my best Bart Simpson laugh, “ha-ha!”.
The Political Fallout: Bush’s New War Plan - the scene has changed; I no longer ‘hate everyone’; I now hate Bush so much that, by contrast, he is the only one I hate.
Apple’s GUI Patent Strategy is Transparent - they just patented transparent (and translucent) windows for OSs.
Mac under fake Word 2004 attack - why oh why would you open an unknown file? Oh well, the viruses have now hit OS X… Makes me wonder if it’s not Microsoft trying to put a stop to pirating (I’m not accusing, just wondering… this is neither liable nor slander).
Mac Rumors: G5 iMac? - yummy.
