UMBRELLA.net will use weather conditions as a potential node-generator in the creation of ad-hoc networks - by this, they pretty much mean creating/changing communications systems (in this case, mostly inter/net/works) on the fly. More on that is here.

imploration

Although I’m sad to see Howard Dean drop out of the race, I implore those of you he excited to stay in the political game. We should either still vote for him on primary day in our states, or else vote for John Edwards. I feel Edwards is a much better/stronger candidate than Kerry, with more differing views from Bush, and therefore has a better chance of taking the win. Although Dean was my first choice, I still feel I could, in theory, be proud to call Edwards our Prez, while Kerry is really a lesser of two evils (granted, next to Bush, a lot less of an evil, but still)….
