stutter living

Big news (and stuff):

  1. stuttering[odys]
is finally seeing the light of day again! I’ve finished the software and mapped
out all of its content, so I’ve got about one week’s worth of implementation
ahead of me. Check out the new and improved artist
    statement
for the piece (edited by my better 2/3).
  2. The piece with Wayne Barker is moving along; we’re doing a test run on Tuesday.
  3. There’s no Room in This Bed goes up in three weeks! 4 of the 8
stop-motion animations are completed, as is the performance poem I wrote (with
the same title), which is currently being incorporated into the performance.
I’m meeting with the stage manager / assistant designer today, in order to
plan out the rest of the shoots, the projection tech specs, and the integration
of set and video. Very exciting stuff! The long awaited sequel to the
    double room…
  4. Nicole and I found a flat! Our offer has already been accepted on a 2 b/r
north-facing apartment (with a huge entertainment patio), just 3 blocks from
where we currently live. Renovations in mind, we’ll likely move in around
    late October.
  5. Not all realtors are bad, but if looking for a place in Killarney
or Riviera, JHB, steer clear of Pam Golding and Stan Abrahams. Go for Anthony
    Onay @ Firzt instead.
  6. My Aunt and Uncle have finalized their plans to visit Africa, for the first
time, in December of this year. Any South Africans out there who want to meet
genuine Brooklyn Jews (pretty much what you’d expect)? Give
    me a holler!

Time for some art.
