DIY is really a pain in the ass
As a rule, I try to submit at least 2-3 new proposals to grants, and the same
number of existing projects to possible shows, per month. Sometimes, I get a bite.
Now, the big (and controversial, amongst DIY artists such as myself - though I’m
not against it at all) one is coming up, and I have to decide which project(s)
to send. Do
you have any ideas? Which project
should I send? Or should I finish one of the proposed / incomplete ones and send
that along? Tell
me more, tell me more, like does Josh
have a car? Oh, it’s this,
of course. If an artist, send stuff, too, and we can compare rejection letters,
maybe (I still have mine from the last one - and from the Independent Studio Program)!
